Course Curriculum Overview
The theoretical classes are held at Osmania University, and the practicals are done at CITD. The contents of the course are designed such that I could bridge the gap between my academics and the industrial standards.
Placement Experience
A 9-11 month project/internship is provided to all the students, which is a fantastic experience of how the industry works and hoe our academic knowledge is applied practically. Placement rates can improve, but still some reputed firms visit the campus for recruitment. Many of us got jobs in smaller startup companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The entire course costs about Rs.83,000 which is affordable for most. This is low compared to many others providing a similar degree, and this course is very helpful for to-be professionals. So, it is definitely feasible.
Campus Life
There are quite a few extracurricular activities at CITD that students can participate in. There are also a number of workshops held throughout the years that are very helpful for personal skill development.
Admission
Admission to this course at CITD is through a national-level entrance test conducted by CITD, called the CUCET. To get admitted here, a minimum of 50% in graduation and a good score in CUCET is required. This course is provided in combination with Osmania University, and they play a part in selection.
Faculty
The faculty members at Osmania were very helpful and explained the topics well, while at CITD, the faculty members provided us with great guidance. Both sets of teachers are qualified and experienced, and we had a lot of support from them.
