Course Curriculum Overview
To shine in this course, it is very important that the student develop a strong aptitude for sports. They should be willing to do research and have superior knowledge of the games by the end of the course.
Placement Experience
Since this institute is the best of the lot in the country when it comes to sports education, we get a lot of offers both during campus placement and also off-campus. We are always welcome to search for internships outside college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. The academic charges are Rs 2000 per year, but apart from that there are uniform charges, security deposits and they have a sort of medical insurance in place. The lodging charges are Rs 175 per day.
Campus Life
We have a computer lab and a centre which we can use for free internet access. We also have common rooms, separate for boys and girls. Since we are all sports lovers, difference in community or culture does not affect us!
Hostel Facilities
The hostel takes Rs 175 lodging charge per day per student and Rs 50 boarding charge per day. Even though overall this seems expensive, we get quite a lot of resources like a common room, mess and wifi.
Admission
The candidate must have at least a Bachelors degree from a University- Indian or foreign.The they have to sit for a written test in Sports Sciences where they will be thoroughly tested on sporting knowledge and aptitude. Depending on this, a result is given.
Faculty
The faculty here have a tough job at hand- not only do they prepare you physically, but they also have to prepare you mentally for the tough job at hand! We had separate teachers for separate games who taught us the ins, outs and rules.
