Life of a B.Sc student

This college is good in every aspects of infrastructure, facilities as well as academics and extra-curricular activities. The college provides transportation facilities for students as well as faculties, ragging free environment, a huge canteen providing varieties and good quality food, Wi-Fi facility with high-speed internet, CCTV surveillance etc.

The curriculum for this particular course focuses on agricultural theory as well as practical. Both classroom lectures and practicals are informative and we usually cover it up before exams. Exams and labs are not that frequent and provide us with gap so we have chilled days here.

Placements and job opportunities for this department is pretty good and the institute offers 100% placements also. The institute even have a training cell that guides students for different interviews and have a better future. The companies with which our college is associated are VIDEOCON etc.

There are many events as well as technical programs that are celebrated in our institute every year like farewell, fresher's, annual meet and also celebrate festivals like Ganesha Puja, Saraswati Puja, deepawali etc.

When it comes to fees structure, being a privately owned institute, the fees will obviously be a little expensive than other government colleges or universities providing the same genre of course. The fees that I have to pay are Rs 3.2 Lakhs which also covers Rs 80,000 tuition fees, semester fees, other fees etc.

We have sports, dance competitions, and other inter-college competitions as extra-curricular activities. Students are also active in several different clubs like Astro Club, Financial Literacy club, dance club, technical club etc. The college organizes several talk shows, seminars and many more.

I had completed my 10+2 in PCB field and was a year drop, since I wanted to go for medical. When I tried next year, I filled application for other college too. But before admission, students must appear CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the college and after my name was on the merit list, I took admission here.

All the faculties here are well-educated as well as some of them are Ph.D holders. They impart knowledge related to the course in such a way that it becomes easy to grasp for all students. They also take regular classes so syllabus can be covered well before exams.
