Course Curriculum Overview
Our course structure was overall good, and we gain knowledge about Evolution Of Economic Thought, Micro Economic Theory And Applications, Agricultural Finance And Project Management, Econometrics, Agricultural Marketing & Price Analysis, Agricultural Production Economics and Computer Applications For Agri. Economics. We had a semester vice exam and weekly practicals.
Placement Experience
Placement in my college was average and most of the students get hired by their academics marks. The companies were limited to offer job placement but they offered a good post to the students. The interview skill depends on the students also like, the way they dress, the way they talk and the way impress the recruiter. overall, placement was good.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of our college was quite feasible as compared to other colleges in the state. I paid around INR 25000 per year, including Tuition Fee, Registration fee, Hostel, student?s Aid Fund, Sports, Gymkhana and allied activities, Library fees and College caution money. Also, the college provided scholarship facility for the deserving candidates.
Campus Life
Yes, my college was very good in sports, every year the college organises Cricket, Foot Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Badminton. Also, my college had courted for Basket Ball and Volley Ball. Our college had Stage Facility and Green rooms for cultural programmes. My college provided a hostel facility for both boy and girls with amenities like table, bed, attached bathroom, running water and clean drinking water. Every year my college organised Yoga programmes for students.
Admission
To get admission in the course a candidate must have passed from the following undergraduate course B.Sc.(Forestry), B.Tech. (Food Tech.), B.Sc.(ABM), B.Sc.(BBM), B.Sc.(Agri.BioTech.) or any other degree from a recognized university which is equivalent. Then the candidate had to apply for the common entrance test and after qualifying the entrance. The student was called for a personal interview and admission is given on the basis of merit list.
Faculty
My college was very lucky because our Vice-Chancellor was Dr K. P. Viswanatha and he was very supportive and well qualified. The teachers motivated students to bring more out of themselves. My Teacher also arranged field trips and workshops for the better exploring of the topics. They tried to make us learn everything.
