Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. The course duration is 4.5 years. It follows Semester based examination. Other than that the college conducts regular test papers and practicals. Since there is a Hospital attached to the College, students are given proper training.
Placement Experience
Every hospital requires a physiotherapist. There are a number of opportunities for graduates in government hospitals, rehabilitation centres, sports clinic, nursing homes, private care centres, mental health centres and community health centres. Those who have completed physiotherapy can also start their own clinic.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is not that expensive since it is a Government college. There are changes in the fee structure at times, but it'll remain the same throughout the course for a particular batch. Fees are collected every year and for us, it is Rs.40000 per year.
Campus Life
The college tries hard to explore the skills of the students. There are different programs organised for exposing the talents of the students. Various cultural as well as sports events take place during the course of an year. Also equality is maintained in the campus. There is no divide on the basis of gender or sex. Anti-Ragging cell also works actively.
Admission
The admission procedure in Goa Medical College is straightforward and is based on the marks that are obtained in the equivalent examination. There is also an entrance exam conducted by the respective college.
Faculty
There is a good faculty in Goa Medical College. They're very helpful and are willing clear any doubt raised by us. The classes are taken by experienced teachers and are taken in detail. The faculty tries hard to present the subject interestingly and in the simplest manner.
