Studying at Dr. Ambedkar College of Commerce and Economics has excelled all its students with the positive qualities. With all the best teachers present in the institute it is one of the best college for studying Commerce.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is independently structured by the college's professors and reviewed by the Mumbai University. It includes all the subjects like Accountancy, marketing, business statistics and commerce ,also a separate research tasks slot is given to the students regarding the same. Exams are held twice a year.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good in Dr. Ambedkar College students are prepared for all the well known firms. During the beginning of the sixth semester companies are invited to pick good candidates as employees to their firms.Internships are provided but only to those who will to take.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees here is quite nominal with no extra charges of any events organised. One can easily pay the amount of fees Dr. Ambedkar College of Commerce and Economics asks. For Bachelor's in commerce student needs to pay 15000 INR per year excluding all the bus fair and examination charges.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities included all the annual fests and the community fests of the college. All the National days and the International days were celebrated too for letting the students learn more about the different cultures. Workshops organised were mandatory to attend by everyone as they taught many different things.

Admission

Eligibility criteria of getting admission in the graduation for Dr. Ambedkar College of Commerce and Economics is atleast 50% in 10+2 and with all the clearance of the documents to be deposited I got admission in the college.

Faculty

Faculty is the most experienced as compared to other colleges in Mumbai. Almost grabbing an experience of more than 20 years faculty truly encourages all the students towards working better and with all the practical knowledge. Since I did B.com so I witnessed all the industry and factory visits during my graduation time that was conducted by the faculty.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

I have applied for DR. AMBEDKAR college and I got that. Basically, I wanted to go there only I like the college and there was a sport's tournament also yeah I loved the college. And about the admissions criteria, the minimum percentage was required by 50% and I have got 63% And I liked that the lower cast can apply with the less percentage of 50% and I have applied through open caste and I got admission in 2nd list. And the minimum age required is 16. And the admission process is also so simple after you got your name on the list and you can do Admission on or the next day in college just have to submit few documents and pay the fees. The one more facility is that I can pay the fees in installments. After this, they confirm the admission and give the fees receipt. For this process it take will take few hours not a day....Read More
