Course Curriculum Overview
My course was a two-year duration course with internal practicals and display projects. The course taught us the lesson to work individual as well as working with a team. the students became slowly master in Design learning, self-development, Innovative abilities and Project-based learning. The course was very good with a vast knowledge of Designing.
Placement Experience
The placement record of my college was very good and we had many companies who offered job placement to us such as DBS Trends & Design studio, Aavaran-echoes of India, Madhura Coats, Milaaya Embroideries, Pratibha Syntex, Khamir Resouce Center, Maskara Exports, VF Brands, IndoCount, CMT textiles, Pratibha Syntex, Bralux, Hunke Moller, Gemini Homes, Art Avenue and Naryan International.
Fee Structure And Facilities
According to me, my fees were affordable to pay. It was Around INR 2.50 lakh including admission fees, project fees and many more. The college provides many facilities like advance machines, air condition room and project guide. as per these facilities, the fees are not expensive.
Campus Life
My college was very good at activities we had fashion events like Promostyl- Foretelling Fashion, Conference for Consortium Green Fashion, Consortium of Green Fashion, the main motive of these events are to promote Khadi and Handloom in the country. The SOFT had taken the responsibility of social cause and to promote ethical and sustainable designing, In this event, many designers took participated such as Mr Philippe Werhahn, Mr Benjamin Itter, Mr Himadri Ghosh and Mr Albert Rigo. We had Events like Inspiron, Foretelling Fashion and Scheme like National Service Scheme (NSS) in our college.
Admission
I got admission after completing my B.Des in Fashion of Design with 68% marks. To apply for the Entrance Examination at least 50% marks are needed but I had more than that. Then the college took an entrance test overall video call and first they took a personal interview then they asked me to show my portfolio, then a statement of purpose, why I chose this course. They were happy with answers and confirmed my admission.
Faculty
I had the best faculty in the world. the way they treated me and other students are none of just a friend. I was a big fan of Dr P.V.S. Shastry, Mr Promoad Gorhe, Mr Suresh Karale, Dr M. M. Hundekar, Dr P.V.S. Shastry and Mr Satyajit Joglekar. They have a unique way of talking to the students and the way they supported us, made us today a successful person.
