My course review

My course duration is three years and the course is based on practicals and theories. The course is very knowledgeable as it provides you with brief information on animal breeding and their genetics change. My favourite topic of this course are Principles of Animal Genetics & Population Genetics, Livestock & Poultry Breeding System and Biostatistics & Computer Application.

The placement is very good and at the end of the semester, the college provide us internship in famous veterinary hospitals. after completing the course the student can get jobs in Animal Research Centres, Teaching job in Colleges and Universities, Poultry and Cattle Sectors and Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Sciences.

The fees are very feasible, my per year fees are INR 1,975. this is a government college that's why the fees are very less as compare to the other college in the city. the candidate has to pay the fees once in a year. which excludes the hostel and mess fees.

My college is better known for producing good sportsmen and for outdoor games our college has a good and big playground with outdoor games like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi and Kho-Kho. The students represent our college in the state or national level also. The college also has indoor games such as Chess, Table-tennis and carom in both boys and girls hostel. Our college also invites guest lecturer and organise seminars. My college also has a guest house for Retired MAFSU officer, Employee on duty and Private Guest.

A candidate must have passed his 10+2 from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or any government organisation which is equivalent to it. The candidate should have passed his 10+2 from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English background with a minimum of 50% marks. the candidate has to apply for the Competitive Entrance Examination which is conducted by Directorate Medical Education & Research, Mumbai.

My college is a government college so most of my faculties are came here bypassing the government exam. Teachers have Vast knowledge and all of them are highly qualified especially, Dr A. D. Deshmukh and Dr A. P. Dhok. Their teaching style is very famous among students. Teachers are very supportive and friendly in nature.
