I absolutely love my college. I am so proud to be a graduate from NID. It has made me the person that I am today. I have so many memories from this college which I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very nice. 1st semester is dedicated to design basics. Then the students are also taught modern communication in a social context. Techniques like 2d and 3d printing, clay modelling etc are also included in the syllabus in the later semesters. The curriculum is very dynamic.

Placement Experience

Our college has very good placement record. It conducts placement during the month of November. Students are trained for placement. Companies like Bombay Design House, Myntra, Adidas and Ebay visit our campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for the 4 years course of B. des is around Rs 12 lakhs. This is divided evenly in the four years. The fees is a bit expensive, you can argue that but the college is also the top most college in the country.

Campus Life

There are many sports facilities in the college. Table Tennis, basketball courts etc are present in the college. We celebrate all the national and cultural festivals in the college. There are more boys than girls in the college but the environment is excellent.

Admission

I got admission in the college after passing 10+2 and clearing DAT(Design aptitude test). There are two rounds of DAT-Prelims and mains. Then the candidates are shortliste and the merit list is declared.

Faculty

The faculty is amazing. Dhiman Sengupta sir who is our discipline lead is extremely knowledge and cooperative. All the faculty are highly experienced and help us creatively solving our design problems.

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Highest package was of around 4.9lpa and average is around 3.4lpa Most students who got placements were those with an average CGPA of 8.6

From 6 semester students become eligible for campus placement, too much companies are visited to our campus like , L&T , TATA, TCS many others around 150+ companies. Which is the highest placement in our college is that 20 lakhs and average package is that around 5 to 6 lakhs.
