Entrance Preview

Sathyabama Entrance Test .I was a very average student and not had too many options. Sathyabama gave me option to lead a disciplined life which i needed then to pick up from there.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was divided into 4 years comprising eight semestems with with two midterms each semester.Each semester had nine subjects apart from practicals.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't interned.I went for a short term training in Integral Coach Factory,Perambur.Companies don't come for offering internship,one if interested can find on own.

Placement Experience

Placement wise Sathyabama provided ample opportunities to the eligible candidates mostly in IT companies.Some manufacturing companies visited aswell.

College Events

Sathyabama culturals and Femfest is celebrated every year on national level with co curricular activities forming the major activity.During my time All India University level competition funded by Government of India was organised aswell.

Fee Structure And Facilities

85000 rupees per year tution feeFree transportation. Free Mess 20000 rupees per year Hostel fee.It is really inexpensive college and provides good amenities.

Fees and Financial Aid

SC,ST and OBC students availed scholarships sponsered by GoI.Toppers were given incentives.Loans were provided by comercial banks.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year Alumini meet is organised and it registers huge attendance.Several Industry captains arrive to grace the ocassion.Speeches and motivational talks are delivered.

Exam Structure

Eight semesters spread over 4 years with 2 midterms in each semester.Practicals too are conducted seperately.

Faculty

Some of the faculties were really good and were highly qualified.Rest were the same as in any college in Indian system.Most of them were punctual nevertheless.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Life in Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Full time experience of Engineering

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

How is life at Sathyabama?

I applied VIT , st Joseph's College, then anand institute of technology...i chose this because of campus and the students I talked to them ,they said it is too good andthe placements were also good too .only thing you need to study from the first...and then this college fees is good compared to other colleges as Sathyabama offer food and bus withing 1.5lakhs ..but others fees itself one lakhs and above...Read More
