Course Curriculum Overview

The schedule is all jam packed. The faculty is very particular about the schedule. No excuses are considered.There are a lot of classes and practicals held throughout the semester. The topics are nicely explained any doubts are cleared to the greatest extent in the class itself.

Placement Experience

As much I have have seen so far, PG students have good placement opportunities in our college. The pay is also decent. We have a great option of working in their own hospital as we are preferred first to work there. They also pay us around 25k per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee here is not that high. It is quite affordable. The facilites we get and the fee when compared is not too high. How ever hostel fee seems quite high as the conditions there are not satisfactory.

Campus Life

The college hosts good number of events throughout the year. Guest lectures are also occasionally conducted. Sports events are conducted where everybody is free to participate. Annual event called PLEXUS is held where different colleges from around come under one roof and participate for different events

Hostel Facilities

The hostel living conditions need a lot of improvement. The infrastructure is not that great. The food also tastes pretty bland. The food quality also needs an improvement. Rooms on the other hand are enough and everybody is provided with separate beds and cupboards and study tables. Washrooms are decent.

Admission

I qualified MBBS with good grades. I did one year internship after completing MBBS. Then I appeared for NEET-PG exam where also I got qualified with a good score. Considering my MBBS and NEET-PG marks, i managed to get an admission for MD.

Faculty

The faculty here is very chill. They are high qualified at the same time. Some of them are even doctors who teach and treat patients the same time. They are more like friends to us. We can even hangout with them in canteen or anywhere else in college. They are more like friends than our faculty. Although some of them are very strict.

An inside information about the college aspirants think of, BITS Goa

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible for campus placement since 7th semester. The companies that visit the campus are Google, Samsung, Meta, Apple, Nvidia, IBM, Mercedes Benz and many more. The percentage of placement is around 84%. My plan after getting the degree is higher studies

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Oldest Medical College in Asia

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is cbme based this meets the international standards and students can attampt usmle aslo. The course give u exposure to real world scenarios. The course is good as it is. The exams take place every semester and end of the year finals. Moderately difficult to clear.

The curriculum is really fun and subjects are also related and is fun to learn and understand but the only subject which is not related to the course and is a burden is the Hindi which is an add on according to the new nep otherwise the subjects are good and fun to learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

I myself wanted to bebin this course as it has bright scope. It is very attractive in real world. the area needed to be cleaned and well maintained and hygiened as well. And the class timing are not good enough . They keep classes as they want.

Bits goa brief review

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good because we have two compulsory internships called practice school to make us industry ready after the second year summer for 2 months and one semester in the 4th or 5th year placements start since 7th semester itself were most get offers in PPO thright the internships. 248 companies visited along with 631 students placed the average is 2083000 and median is 1650000. 76 percent of students got placed highest was 80lpa. I plan to get a job

Me choosing this course was totally interest oriented as I wanted anything that would include medical science wherein Ill be able to help the people who would suffering through certain problems Our course is eye related and provides the primary care and diagnoses related to refractive error and other ocular diseases The difficulty is not as harsh as MBBS course bt is not as that easy as well so one shouldbnot take the course easy and sincerely give in their hundred percent in it

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college adheres to NMC guidelines and we are following CBME. It is well planed and well executed. Plenty of dummy models to practice on and very good practical classes in wards. Exams are not too tough, they test your clinical acumen

I choose this college over other colleges beacause its year of establishment is 1852, but i found that year of establishment doesn't matter in MBBS as much we think. Admission process is too easy. Bachelor of optometry in Goa medical college

I wanted to try for armed forced medical college as I wanted to serve the army along with the medicine and other requirements but was not possible as I couldn't score much in neet and I had to settle for whatever I was getting and I was happy with it. I picked GMC over other colleges as it has a high patient load, good OPDs and excellent facilities. In vitro fertilisation is done for free and it's the oldest medical college in Asia.
