Course Curriculum Overview
Mainly every semester for every subject consists of 80 to 90 lectures to complete for a semester. Very well defined time and course is assigned to every topic like Anatomy, physiology, and Biostatistics.
Placement Experience
Students join any hospital on their own or prepare for other govt jobs in hospitals. Till now there are internships here but in the coming year, there is an introduction of placements also in our course. Also, students of our course all are placed in govt hospitals around the country.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very feasible. The fee is around ?1.12 Lakhs. There are no extra hidden fees here. Every year the examination fee is taken which is very feasible for every student. The hostel fee is also very less.
Campus Life
Very well structured labs are constructed. Campus life is very good here. All sports is available here. One can join any sports he or she wishes. There is workshops, and events for all students. They are the majority of Mbbs students. As students come by entrance test so there is almost a fixed gender ratio here.
Hostel Facilities
I opted for a hostel. Hostel rooms are well furnished and good here. PGs are very cheap here. They charge Rs 3 to 4 thousand for a month. Hostel rooms are sharing here for MBBS students. Facilities are very good provided by Goa Medical College and Hospital
Admission
Admission to this college is through the NEET entrance test which is generally held in the mid of June every year. The test comprises of Physics, chemistry, biology and you must have at least 50% in your 10+2 examination.
Faculty
Faculty of my college is highly educated and they all are doctors having practical as well as theoretical knowledge. Their way of teaching is elaborative and descriptive and even demonstrative. My teachers are intelligent, humble, polite, and helpful.
