Course Curriculum Overview
It was a one year course full time course. The curriculum was very interesting. It mainly focuses on maintenance, management and preservation of library. The university conducts its final examination at the end of the course. So, the exam structure was not at all hectic.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities and placement was average in our university. In my course, there was no campus interview. But many career options are there after completing the course. Students can work in public library, school and college library as librarian, Assistant Librarian, Technical writer etc. After qualifying my course, i gave many interviews in school and colleges and finally i got a job in a reputed college as a librarian.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees of the one year course was 4000 rupees. The fees was a one time payment which includes admission fees, library fees, examination fees etc. The fees was very good and feasible for all the students as we didnot get any difficulty in paying the fees.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are very good to develop our all round personalities. The students committee of our university actively conducts and organizes many activities like indoor and outdoor games, track events, field visit, social activities, workshops etc. All students with fully enjoyed and participate in all the activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors of our university are very friendly and helpful with us.Most of the seniors are very successful in their career.We have very good interaction with our seniors through various social media.The alumni network was quite good in our university.In our university, we have an alumni association who conducts alumni meet every year during the annual function day. The university invites the past students in the alumni meet. Both ex students and present students interact with each other on that day.
Admission
Admission in this course was fully based on marks. There was no entrance examination for this course. To get admission students have to qualify their graduation from any stream from a recognised university are eligible to get admission in this course.
Faculty
All teachers are very qualified in their respective subjects. They have many years of experience in the particular field. They try to clear each and every doubt of the students related to their subjects. They are very helpful.
