Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was a little rigid as we have to study hard and improve our knowledge so that we can perform well in the practicals and project making work.we have to study about building and construction, Architecture design and visual designs.There are in total 10 semesters held in 5 years.

Placement Experience

The placements and job opportunities are provided by the college. Students should not worry about getting jobs after completion of the course.The placements are provided to the deserving students and even those who dont get placed by the college get to achieve good career and jobs.As being student of this college gave good impression to firms where you get interviewed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is a renowned government college.So, its fees is not at all expensive.Low amount of fees is one of the positive remarks of this college.The B.Arch course is 5 years full time course .For 1 year I paid the amount around Rs.13,000.which can be easily affordable.The fees amount is different and low for other candidates who belongs to sc/st/obc.

Campus Life

Various interesting events are celebrated in the college.Workshops and exhibitions are also held.Where projects of seniors are displayed.so,we can have an idea and inspiration for them.Also festivals,few fests and sports activities are fun to be part of.Overall the campus life is good.

Admission

Online and offline are two modes to apply in the College.I downloaded the application form attached the documents required.Then took print of the form and submitted in the college.SJJC college select those students who scored well in NATA/JEE mains.As i scored well i applied in the college and i was lucky that i got selected in such prestigious college.

Faculty

Faculty of the college was very much supportive most them were PhDs.They help the students in every possible way and try to give them best knowledge they have.I never got nervous to ask them questions as they were very humble and friendly in behaviour.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. You need to possess at least 50% marks in B.Arch from a recognized university, The student should have completed 21 years of age before applying for the master's program. The candidates who have a diploma in architecture are also eligible to apply. The admission is granted on the basis of scores obtained in MAH-M.Arch-CET examination.
