This is one of the famous University in odisha. i got 79% and get selected in the 2nd cut of list. If you do not get to make the first cutoff mark then try for the 2nd ,3rd or spot selection.fir this you have to go to the hod's office and then sign a form to show them you are interested in their University, You can find more about this college by going to the official website.

The course are not very hard or not even easy. It has a different syllabus then other universities of odisha, in every 4 to 5 month you have give your semester exam . The faculty are very talented and cooperative the classes are regularly taken by them. As the syllabus is vast and the time is less it is sometime happen that they do not able to cover the whole syllabus.like other government institutions you have to put effort to study as you can not totally depend upon the University to get a good score. Exam marking process is a bit harsh but if you try you can score good.

*From the last semester students get eligible for the campus placement *Company like tcs, wipro, mahindra etc are come to the university every year for placement * The highest package is from 2.5-3.5 lakhs per annum * 60% of students get selected in the campus job * I am planning for a master degree in finance

The fee is very low as considering the facilities we got . The admission fee was 2500 for the first year and the readmission fee was 500 for other 2 years.the university do not give any scholarships of its own but the odisha government provide some scholarship like prerana ect to help the students financially. Courses are very affordable and worth to read hear.

In every year at the annual sports day we have a food fest . every department set up food stall with different food item at reasonable price. The fest and the annual sports conduct in the month of November. Our university has a big library there are thousands of book you can easily get book form the library as per your syllabus even various novel story book and philosophy book are there which you can get by using your college id card.there is a e-library where you can get access to computer and internet.free wifi are there in every department The class room are very big with good lighting and fan some room also has air conditioner. There are various groups like ncc,nss, students union club where you can join.

i lived in the government hostel of ravenshaw University. 6 girl's hostel and 5 boy's hostel are there in our university campus, every hostel has different structure of room, masters student got more priority while getting hostel rooms, generally 4 to 6 students are allowed per room. Rooms are very big ,24 hr water supply, there is no electricity back up.food quality is not so good but you can have 3 times meal at the cost of rs 50, this may vary form hostel to hostel, but there hostel are better then the private hostels. You can apply for these hostel by filling the form that available in the official website once in a year,
