Central University of Bilaspur

The University has a big compound and is one of the best government universities in Chhattisgarh. Around 1 lakhs students all over the Country applied for it. The admission process begins from the submission of online forms, then if your course demands an entrance exam you have to attend that. Then a merit list is out and even if your desired course had no entrance exam then also there's this merit list system for that. After this date is given till which you have to submit the documents required and then you are called for admission. No interview system is there. Central University is really a good that's why I decided to apply.

I love literature and books, that's the reason I applied for this course. Faculty in our department is helpful and friendly. Infact this department faculty is known in our university for good and friendly teachers. The students teacher ratio is 45:1 but in masters it's 30:1 We have 6 terms in 3 years for BA and 4 for MA program. Two internals and a semester exam. Exams are also good and if you read well you can score really well.

Some department placements here are really good. But in arts the placement can be an issue as there is no campus placement in our course.

One of the best thing in Arts department is our fees is not high. After this course you can apply for Net exams and other competition exams.

The social atmosphere here is really good. We have 2 canteens. People's here are really friendly. We have department wise fests every year and along with that other programs and sports day. We have many clubs and groups for other skills as well like dance, singing, college magazine club etc. The University publish its own magazine each year which is run by students.

There are separate boys and girls hostel. With each room for 2-3 people. Food is also good. Other than this the pg facilities us also around here which is affordable too. And various food shops for students.

There is no interviews in my course. For admission process you just have to fill general forms and for I'd cards and library cards and required documents.
