Remarks

1. The lab facilities availability and the opportunity for entrepreneurship, project guidance and social activities are really good. Ex. NSS of our college awarded best active member from Anna university Dr. Surappa and NCC cadet of our college Saravanan participated in RDC camp in the year 2018 Jan republic day. 2. There are two admission way to Join NEC. First is through counseling and other is management quota. No entrance exams to get the admission. 3. I am preferred this college because of choosing electrical and electronics in this college has more lab facilities and only college other than anna university has the HV lab capacity of up to 110kV. 4. TNEA app and tamilnadu engineering college counselling app.

Course Curriculum Overview

1. I had chosen this course because of my interest in electronics. 2. 1:20 is the faculty student ratio and staffs are really experienced and friendly to the students. 3. In our department more than 12 PhD staffs are available. 4. Two internals for a subject in a semester and two semesters for a year. 5. Teaching method is through online and board and chalk communication.

Internships Opportunities

All the companies that came for campus placement also giving internship with maximum stipend of 35000 per month and minimum 10000 per month.

Cost to study is really minimum than any other self financing colleges. BC scholarship, first graduate scholarship, SC ST scholarships and other scholarships given by government also available.

Campus Life

Altanzia in the month of Jan to Feb, NEC startupthon, NEC idea challenges are organised yearly. More than 10000 books are available. Smart tv, blackboard, provision for projector display. Hockey tournament and cricket tournament was conducted in our college. Available sports : cricket, football, hockey, handball, basketball, throw ball, tennis, chess, carrom board, table tennis, badminton, athletics Clubs : NCC, NSS, IEEE, Institute of Engineers, ECO club, Rotaract club, Youth red cross

Hostel Facilities

Hostel has the facilities for mini library, computer centre, gym, volleyball court, table tennis court, wifi facilities and veg and non veg separate mess. The menu will be decided by the student coordinator of 2, 3 and 4th year students only. The quality of the food is really good and worth of money.

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

In the South Side of Tamilnadu, the topmost college is the national engineering college. Most of my relatives are referred to this college. The course offered by this college is awesome. Faculty members are also very good. I entered this college through TNEA counseling mode so all the admission process is only online mode. The detailed admission process is released by our Tamilnadu government. Why I choose this college over others because it is very near to my home the transportation very easy for me and most of the top companies are come to this college for placement activities and college infrastructure also very nice in this college. The good aspect is NEC is started in 1984. Nec is properly managed in many years. Staffs are also good. They teach very well. NEC offers 7UG and 9 PG degrees .college has well-equipped laboratories for all branches. NEC has several research programs leading to Ph.D. degrees in all departments. our college has free wifi facilities all over the campus.
