Entrance Preview

Entrance test for diploma Engineering- 80%. This is one of the best college having a big campus as well workshop space to do practicals.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was good alongwith practicals. Huge workshop wherein all the equipments available to do practicals. Theory was also good taught by well qualified faculties.

Internships Opportunities

During 1997 hardly any campuses use to happen. so internship done. None of the companies came for campus internships. But now lot many companies are doing.

Placement Experience

Placement is good both national and international. There were so many students got placed in middle eastern countries and doing well.

College Events

Wow cultural event were the best of all. Lot of celebrations use to happen with harmony and every single student gets involved in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were scholarships for poor and needy students but i have not availed any. Also those who are good in academics they can also avail the facility if needed.

Campus Life

Campus life is one of the best life. University has huge campus. about extracurricular activities not many people were aware of billiards, snooker or pool. Aligarh University had them all since long. Debates labs sports both indoor and outdoor.

Alumni/Alumna

World's biggest alumni network we have and we all are still connected with each other through our alumini website and all of us are ready to help if required by any alumin.

Faculty

Faculty's were the best and most of them have published their own books in their specific subjects. Their way of teaching was so personalised and easy to understand.

In the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited on the campus are Maruti, Tata, Mahindra, TVs, Toyota & 2 offers made. The highest and average package as per company is 35,000 to 45,000 per month. 60% of students getting placements. I Plans after getting the degree is job.

Our study is important but the most important thing is the placement, which makes your career better. Our college has campus placement and many companies visit and hire our students. In many branches, not all the students get the placement but the students who are toppers and who are good in their study get the placement. I also dream to get a placement so that I can get a job quickly after my diploma. For that, I am really working hard and improving my skills, knowledge, and my scores. Tata Motors, Layam Group, Myntra, Bajaj, and other companies come to our college for the placement. In the final year of our course, this opportunity comes to us and we are very much awaited for that.

Best engineering college for BTech and polytechnic. Architecture department are also in our college. Labs, laboratories, libraries. Buses with camera. Girl hostels.

Placement Experience:

In the last semester, our senior get a job in many respected companies. About 70 to 80% of students placed in every year. About 40 students placed in Mechanical in core companies in this. Covid time by virtual placement drive. And minimum package for diploma student is 2.5 LPA to 5lpa.

Placement Experience:

Many companies visited our campus. Every year more than 90 percent of students placed in companies like Shalimar,eldeco, BCC, etc. The percentage should not below 60 percent for participate in interviews. Minimum salary package for freshers of diploma engineering hired 3.5 lakhs per annum. I am planning to go for the government junior engineers exam after completing my diploma

BEST GOVT. POLYTECHNIC IN UP

Remarks:

Positives Beautiful Campus : This might seem irrelevant to some, but the natural beauty is what comes to your rescue when you feel you have hit rock-bottom. Single Rooms : People have different opinions about this, but I have come to respect this particular facility at our campus. Location of campus (away from city) : This is a very subjective issue, but I think that the location of campus (distance from city) leaves us lesser distractions. Negatives :- Weak Alumni Base : Although it is definitely possible to achieve any goal in life without assistance from alumni, but their experience can definitely make the journey simpler for many. However, lately, many alumni of IIT Guwahati are connecting back with the student community and I am grateful to them for taking out their time for interacting with us. Single Rooms : Yes, I covered this in positives as well, but I think I must point out the cons of this facility. Students, especially in the first year, might feel lonely and find it hard to interact with others. A shared room provides you with one or more readily accessible friends whose privacy you can breach without asking, from day one. Mess : However the Mess System is undergoing a lot of changes, this is one aspect that has a lot of scope for improvement.
