The course curriculum is very in-depth and a variety of specializations are offered to the students. Students are provided with hands-on experience in dealing with the practicality behind the food tech industry and imbibe knowledge about the various problems and solutions of the food sector.

Ample of job opportunities are provided to the students as there is no scarcity of jobs in this field. Students are also provided with internship opportunities. There is close to 100% placements, and big companies like KFC,Burger King, Wendy's come for placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is pretty feasible and flexible, the total fees for the course amounts to around 48,000 rupees.The payment of the fees needs to be made in two installments of 24,000 each per year. The fees is justified compared to the value it provides.
Campus Life
The college environment is good, students from all over the country come here so it is a great opportunity to know about different cultures. The college is big so there is a lot of space to roam about and have fun, there aren't any student clubs but a number of research centers are present on campus.
Admission
I had decided to pursue the M.Sc(Food Tech) from CFTRI as it is one of the most prestigious institutions in this field. The main admission criteria post fulfilling the minimum eligibility is the Entrance exam, I scored pretty well in the exam and was granted admission. The admission process is smooth and hassle free.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is highly skilled and trained. The teachers are very experienced and learned, they make sure that students understand the concept and are very quick in solving the doubts of the students.
