Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum was good at my time because I had different subjects in each semester. They provided the knowledge of different Computer Programming Languages per semester which included C, C++, Java, Python etc. The exam pattern was also good. Exams in LPU are divided in two categories which were Internal and External exams conducted by the university per semester.
Placement Experience
In LPU, the placement record is very high. The top Recruiters are Microsoft, Infosys, Amazon, Mahindra, Axis Bank etc. About 95% of the students got placement in my batch.The highest Package offered was 42 LPA by Microsoft. Yes, my college provided internships. I had selected for an intership on data analytics and I got 20k as stipend.
College Events
At my time, It offered a wide range of sports, academic and cultural events. I also had the choice to join sports team of cricket, tennis, basketball etc. Many fests were held at the university which provided a way for students to showcase their talents.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In LPU, the fee structure is expensive in comparison to other private universities.But the campus life , academics, extra curricular activities were good according to the fees. My Btech(CSE) fees was 804000 for 4 years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is offered at the time of admission on the basis of 12th board and might be offered on the basis of sports , cultural performance. Scholarship is also provided on the basis of marks obtained in LPUNEST. I got scholarship on the basis of my 12th board marks
Campus Life
It included a wide range of sports, academic and cultural events. I had the choice to join the team of cricket, basketball, hockey in my time.They all were good because I learned a lot from them such as how to work as a leader and how to maintain the team etc.
Hostel Facilities
There were 4/3/2/1 seater room with an option of air conditioner was available. Rooms were attached with washroom , bed, table, chair, almirah etc. The quality of food was also good. overall, the hostel life was good. My hostel fees was about 12k per month.
Admission
An entrance exam is organized by the Lovely Professional University i.e. LPUNEST for the selection of students. Basically , LPUNEST is also treated as a Scholarship test. LPUNEST will be exempted if students has scored more than or equal to 90% in the 12th. As I got 91% in my 12th that's why I was eligible for it. So, I got scholarship from the college on my admission.
Faculty
Our many professors were well experienced and well qualified in their own fields.Faculty Members were very supportive. They follow the rules of minimum 75% attendance of every student. They had a lot of knowledge about their subjects.
