Course Curriculum Overview
The course is 3 years programme. It is well covered with all the required syllabus . Internals and other exams are held properly. Some days are hectic and some days are good and very much relaxing. It's a very interesting course to study here. Me and my friends also went to nearby places to visit in our free time.
Placement Experience
Placements are really good here. Many public/private organisation come for recruitment . Many of my seniors got placed in amazing places. The package offered is also decent and not so low. One must sit for placement here.
College Events
The college has many centres like Advanced centre for Ayurveda, Center for public health and many other more. I participated in many events also. College organises events like workshop on first aid for mental health, national conference on mental health education, national level workshops on non invasive brain stimulation and many more. They are very interested and knowledge-based.
Fee Structure And Facilities
MD is a 3 years course with a few structure of Rs.2,00,000. I find it little expensive but it's a high level course after MBBS too. And the college is well maintained also. The course fee of many other courses are different than MD
Campus Life
The campus has a good collection of flora and fauna generous and exotic varieties of plants been preserved on the campus. The college is very much into environmental safety. I liked about it . The Research Center of college provides information about the genetic basis for disease causation and developing prognostic and clinical predictors and diagnostic inventory/ checklists. NIMHANS has Biomedical Engineering Section which is responsible for testing, repairing, and maintaining proper and safe operating conditions.The cafeteria food is also good and has varities mostly south indian obviously. Hostel facilities are also good here. NIMHANS includes the Diagnostic Center with therapeutic pieces of equipment. The College has well developed and the well-stored library for students, staff, and doctors so the research programs move easily. The library has both national and international journals. The library gives online journal subscriptions to its students and staff so that students get convenient to study.
Admission
The candidate should have passed MBBS degree or its equivalent qualification recognized by MCI The candidate should qualify NEET-PG.. Admissions are also taken on the basis of the entrance exam.
Faculty
The teachers are very friendly and supportive in the college. I find them from my opinion.college has many departments and each department is provided with highly qualified and experienced teacher. Their teaching methods are very amazing.
