Great College

The college has given me what I am today. It has given me good knowledge and placments in a good IT firm. The management was very good.

Amity itself conducts its entrance exam. I opted as I have got above 90 in class 12th and amity a highly reputed and good college was giving me 100 percent scholarship.

Course Curriculum was same for all b.Tech branches for first year.From second year it was specific to branch but it has lot of computer related subjects which helped students as most of them were recruited in IT firm being in different branches.

Comapnies like esoft technologies,wipro,infosys,tata consultancy limited,HAL,BSNL,UPtec Consultancy Limited. They offered 10 thousand to 20 thousand for entire internship.

TechMahindra 2.93 lakhs,Keane India 2.75 lakhs,Cognizant 3.10 lakhs,Impetus 3.25 lakhs,HCL 2.70 lakhs,Torry Harris 3.5 lakhs,Wipro 2.75 lakhs,Infosys 3 lakhs,Perrot System 3.2 lakhs.

We usually have one technical and one cultural fest each year with active participation of all the students. They were involved in the organization of event to participation in event.

Fees was fifty thousand per semester. So for 4 years around 4 lakhs tution fee. For hostel,fees was fifty thousand per year. It was not feasible for everyone. Most of them taken student loan for studies.

I availed 100 percent scholarship based on the results in 12t standard. 50 and 25 percent was also there based on 12th standard results in first year. It was to be continued in second year based on performance in first year.

Labs were good with many lab instruments to be easily worked by students. Every student can work on their live project with the help of labs and faculties.

I was not the part of hostel.But as per feedback from my friends hostel facilities was good. It was air conditioned and food was good.Girls were not allowed to go out without prior permission from warden.

I was the first batch as it was opened in 2004 in lucknow. But definitely I have good communication with my juniors and there was no ragging system in the college.

There were two semesters per year and two mid semesters per year. It was good as it helped the students prepare the course. The labs exams were conducted twice the year.

Faculty was good with good number of experience. Some of them were retired faculty of IITs. They were very encouraging in exploring new things in the curriculum.
