BHU Common Entrance Test(CET)I opted for BHU because I wanted to pursue my career in Archaeology and since such a nice college was based according to my career in my hometown so I opted for this.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is really well maintained and very systematically involved in imparting the education but can be improved. Usually we have a very good session involved with classes running with full enthusiasm.
Internships Opportunities
No internships offered yet or not even any field works for graduation courses. Usually career in Archaeology should have regular field works for students to get a practical knowledge of excavations.
Placement Experience
No placements or job opportunities available for the course of B.A. here as in for any field to get a job people require a more apt and specialization in a particular course since we have variety of field of studies here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes scholarship is offered which infact is based on the economic background of an individual. This helps one to support more with continuing their studies.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good if a Student choses to participate in much more co-curricular activities and enagages himself in with other Faculty and Institute students around .
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors students are helpful if we ask for help from them and alumni network is not really. So much well extended although the Faculty is trying well to cope up with the Network of alumnus and in some cases they usually are involved in university in one way or another.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is pretty nice with as usual 3 hours of pen-paper based examination with 70 Marks of Theory paper and 30 marks for Internals. Infact the last semester exams(5th) was quite well as there were nice gaps given for in between the papers for preparations.
Faculty
To be very honest I'm not impressed with the quality of faculty involved because the standard of my college is really high and I expected the faculty to be more world class.
