IIT BHU give opportunity in core dngineering industries IT & IT enabled services, manufacturing Industries, consultancy firms, finance companies, management organisations R & D laboratories.

The addmission in IIT bhu is through the JEE mains and advance examination conducted by cbse and iits as we konw that iits are the best institution for the engeneeariing so i have gone through the exam and cleard it.

IIT BHU has proper academic schedule and very well figure out class start at 8 am and continues till 5 pm with 2 hours break (12:00-2:00 pm). Assignments are given in each subject which has to be solve and discuss in tutorial classes. There are 3 test in each semester CT-1, CT-2, EndSem . Quality of classroom teaching is good. Students can also take time from professors for clearing their doubt.

Till last year there is no official foreign exchange program student went abroad through their own contacts and intern. This year IIT BHU signed Mo-U's with 10 different american universities including MIT for exchange program.

All the major companies from each sectors come to the campus google, Microsoft, VISA, Facebook, Cisco, Amazon, HUL etc come to the campus. This year highest package from IIT BHU is 2.03 Cr this college is founded in 1919 so IIT BHU has asia's biggest and strongest alumni network better than any IIT.

You get to meet folks from multiple backgrounds gymkhana hosts 3 major fest "Technex" annual techno-management fest,"Spardha" annual sports fest, "KashiYatra" annual cultural fest. Despite of these some departments have departmental fest also. There is no restriction whatever you do parties are quite often engineers love to do parties. There are many hangout places in Varanasi like "assi ghat" and ganga.

IIT BHU provide merit-cum-means scholarship also IIT BHU alumni network also provide scholarships as this college is government funded so there is special scholarships for ST/SC candidates. Bank loans can be easily taken with 1% interest less than actual rate because you are in IIT.

Institute has a gymkhana which controls all student activity. Gymkhana has 4 major council, science and Technology Council(SnTC) this council has 7 clubs responsible of tech activity in college, Robotics Club, Aero Modelling Club, SAE Club, Astronomy Club, COPS(Programming), Green Club, Social outreach club, Cultral Council , Lit Club, Quiz Club, Theater, Dance FreakZ club, IMC(Indian Music), WMC(Western Music), Film and Media Council, Animation Club, Design club, Cine Club, Media Club, Photography club, Games and Sports Council - This council hosts annual sports fest "Spardha" of IIT BHU. Also their is Inter IIT Sports Meet every year .

College has 11 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel campus is fully residential, no choice of living outside in old hostels rooms are small but they have huge lawns and playing area. New hostels have bigger rooms quality of food vary from one hostel to another you can avail food from outside also.

The alumni reunions are a time for batchmates to come together, share memories about their experiences at IT-BHU, and learn about the IT-BHU of today. You will reconnect and reminisce with with your old friends, most of whom you have probably not seen in a long time. This is also a time give something back to your alma mater, and also share your experiences with the current students. The alumni association in conjunction with the alumni cell will help in organizing alumni reunions annually of the batches which complete 25 years of graduation in that particular year.
