Course Curriculum Overview
The computer science and information technology courses have 8 semesters in total. Students are given regular assignments and labs are conducted to give students a practical knowledge of the subject. The lab work and assignments along with the final exams are considered for grading a student.
Placement Experience
The batch of 2015-2019 witnessed a good placement drive with approximately 82% of students getting placed in some major company out of the 22 companies that offered a job to the students. MNCs like Adobe System, IBM, Q3 Technology, Posist Technology etc. offered coveted job profiles. The latest average annual package is around Rs. 8.19 Lakhs and the highest package offered was Rs. 40.63 Lakhs per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure can be quite burdensome for some of the students as the tuition fee for one academic year accounts for approximately Rs.80000 including registration fees, medical facilities, etc. and Rs.12000 per month for a hostel.
Campus Life
The college recently held an International day of Yoga to promote a healthy lifestyle which was a great success. Independence day is also celebrated with great enthusiasm on the campus with everyone actively taking part in the preparations.
Admission
I appeared for the JEE Main examination last year after completing my 12th and got an admission in IIIT Sonepat in the general category. The closing rank for the Computer Science stream was 17148 while for the Information Technology stream was 20446.
Faculty
The teachers are highly qualified and they maintain a healthy relationship with students. Owing to which the students feel no reservation in asking for any help from the teachers. They also have a lot of experience in teaching which shows in their lectures.
