My Journey with Gulbarga college

Our college is good for the students who study hard and sincerely. And it has good hostel facilities, good food and various study books are available in library. Many extracurricular activities takes place and students participate with excitement.

The syllabus offered by the university is an updated one and the college was helpful to explore more activities to bring out interest in students. Our college exam class was monitored with CCTV camera and after writing the exam it easy to adapt the environment. I was a biotechnology student and my studies are split into theories and practical. Lab hours helpful for doing project work.

There is a scope improvement for students and college provide assistance to pass out students. College provide good placements and job opportunities in all fields. Companies visit the campus to select an candidate as their employee and offer with good salary.

Our college organize welcome party for fresher's which will take place every year to welcome the first years . Farewell day for seniors who had completed their college days and final celebration for them. Teachers day celebration which was celebrated every year to show our gratitude to our teachers. Youth day festival are celebrated for the students and inter college cultural activities takes place where many college visit for participating in various events.

Fees structure is feasible for those who want to study in good environment. I had taken my course on Msc Biotechnology which I had paid fees for two years separately. For first year I have to pay ?27,313 and the second year the fees amount is ?23,293 is payed.

Our university has outdoor stadium 400 meter track, football ground, hockey ground, ball Minton, cricket ground, kho kho, kabbadi etc. In our college students are trained with national level and international level sports events. Labs are offered for specific courses it depends on department and they are physics lab, chemistry lab, computer lab and digital language laboratory. Our students do practical exams and project work in their labs.

The college has entrance exam for applicant. JNU CEEB round 1 Cut off marks are used for category wise. I want to pursue with Msc Biotechnology since I will come under OBC category and I get 85% cut off . Other category cutoff are such as for general is 106% and for SC 70%.

Faculty in our college are friendly and talented. Most of the teaching are case study based. Each faculty member are updated with latest advancement. Our faculties are highly qualified and very experienced in field of our study.
