Management is very responsive to needs of the students and caters to their requirements earnestly.
Entrance Preview
I took IIT JEE. Dont remember exact score but was ranked pretty high took the college as it was one of the most reputed colleges in those days.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was elaborate and had lot of choices in electives etc. The choice would range from social sciences and philosophies to cutting edge technology related subjects as well.
Internships Opportunities
College internships are very smooth and well managed process. The internships are of two types companies and universities. Both pay very well with typical stipend in the range of 20-30 k per month.
Placement Experience
I got placed in a very well reputed company for a techno-managerial role and it was a great experience for me as I could apply my past learning as well as learn new stuff as well.
College Events
Antaragini one of the best cultural festivals in North India. Techkriti the competition that brought out the engineer among us. The management fest was only emerging at that time and I did not participate much in that.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was a little expensive but there were more than enough aid and scholarships available. Fee was about 17,000 per semester which may not be high but presenting that amount as a single installment could be tough for some people.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships were available only once you enter the college loans were also there from banks but we did not avail any so not sure.
Campus Life
Campus life is abuzz with a multitude of activities. There is a lot of participation in dramatics,dance,music,sports and other activities. Dedicated facilities for each and competitions from time to time are organized by the student body as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was really best in class as the college had got a lot of endowment very recently. Food was like any government college mess bit low quality but it was student managed so it could improve with proper intervention.
Alumni/Alumna
Superb alumni want to remain connected to the school and keep visiting very often. Help during placement time is also exceptional and is generally amazing.
Exam Structure
Exams are well spaced and no one exam is heavily weighted. There are unit tests and then mid terms and end terms which ensure that a single exam doesnt determine the final grade.
Faculty
Faculty was not the best of the world. There was limited exposure to international faculty and faculty who would be travelling to India on exchange etc. The teachers were also spread across the spectrum some would be published across the globe whereas some others would be restricted to local journals only.
