IIT Kanpur is indeed one if the best colleges of India in engineering field and there is no doubt about that. In many works rankings survey, IIT Kanpur has consistently made a place in top 50 engineering schools of word. College management is also very professional and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview
First two years were focused on basic engineering courses and remaining years were mainly departmental. In all those years if undergraduate and postgraduate study, I learned a lot.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies came and the average stipend was around Rs 20,000 per month. There is a student placement office who does a very good job of inviting companies in campus.
Placement Experience
It's very good. Student placement office works closely with faculties and many multinational companies to help students in getting job.
College Events
Antaragni, Udghosh, Varchasva, Galaxy etc were some of the notable inter collegiate and intra-collegiate festivals. Participation was huge in all the five years of my graduation at IIT Kanpur and I thoroughly enjoyed and participated in most of those festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are average. The year in which I joined fees were around thirty five thousand rupees and it used to be sixteen to seventeen thousand rupees per semester of a bachelor or undergraduate degree course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Merit cum means scholarship at IIT Kanpur is the most famous scholarship to help meritorious students who face financial difficulties in paying their tuition fees.
Campus Life
Campus life was awesome. Be it sports, indoor sports, inter college competition or other professional shows in all those extra curricular activities we participated.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was very clean and there were sweepers for each and every wing or block of all the hotels of IIT Kanpur. Mess was also good. Food used to be very healthy and proper sanitation was maintained.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni base of IIT Kanpur is very good. There are successful people in almost all sectors from IIT Kanpur and this makes our peer group very strong and widespread throughout the world.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is very competitive and there used to 2 mid semester exams earlier but now it is relaxed. Because now, there is only one mid semester examination and one end semester examination.
Faculty
All were well qualified with good background in research. Mainly the Structural Engineering specialization under civil engineering department was very much focused on research.
