Course Curriculum Overview
Course was quite easy with a lot of practical things and examination were divided into two categories internal and external where internals consists of midterm examination, practical manuals, assignments which was of 50 marks and rest 50 marks were obtained from external examination.
Placement Experience
The university provided placements for each and eveery students. Most of the students got the placement through the university campus. There were many job opportunities for agricultural courses. About 90% of the students got placement from my batch.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a goverment college that's why the fee structure for every course is feasible. In my time, the fee structure was Rs. 8,980 for 1st year and Rs. 7,190 for rest 3 years. So, the total fees for 4 years was Rs.30,550.
Fees and Financial Aid
As per my knowledge, there was no loan facility in the university. But, scholarrship were provided to the students who got highest marks in their batch . The scholarship amount of 1500-2000 was provided to that particular student.
Campus Life
The university organized many extra curricular activities for the students. There were many evvents and fests held at that time. Some of the events were krishi mela where different technologies invented were provided to farmers and there was also an event called raw programme which was organized to know the problems of the farmers. Various clubs llike horticulture, sports club provides room for extra curricular activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Juniors were treated like friends by the Seniors . Every senior helped their junior in every aspect whether it was personal or professional issue. They also provided notes to their juniors and helped them in their studies. The university has largest almuni association where diifferent almuni students were helped them during tough situations.
Admission
The Admission Criteria in University of Agricultural Sciences for B.Tech(Agricultural Sciences) based on the marks got in KCET which was a state level entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for candidates who were applying for KCET must passed with 50% in 12th standard.
Faculty
Faculty Members in our university were highly experienced in the field of agriculture science.Every faculty member completed their PhD in their respective courses. They supported each and every student to gave their best. Faculty Members focused more on the practical part than the theoritical part.
