Course Curriculum Overview
IPS has a good BBA course that is spanned over 3 years : 2 semester each year. The course structure is very simple yet informative. I got to learn a lot of different subjects in business studies and economics. There are 2 internal exams and 1 final exam each semester and students need to pass in all of them to get promoted.
Placement Experience
Placement Cell of IPS works in a very systematic way and provides students with plenty of opportunities to get jobs as well as internships (paid and unpaid). Companies like IBM and Infosys come for recruitments and hire a lot of students from undergraduate levels. I did not appear for placements because I wanted to go for Masters.
College Events
Fest at IPS were amazing. It is a very culturally rich college that hosted variety of events throughout the year. Our BBA department organised guests lectures and conferences for us so that we get an idea of the corporate world. Apart from that a lot of dance competitions, debate competitions and sports matches are also held every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees BBA is around 90,000 which is pretty inexpensive as compared to other colleges. The course gives students a lot of outside exposure and good quality education, hence I feel it justifies the money.
Campus Life
I feel extracurricular activities helps to develop students' minds. IPS also believes the same and hosts events to bring out the talent in students. ""Technoparv"" is celebrated every year in April which lets the students showcase their talents in music, dance, comedy etc.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni of our college are the best. They are super helpful and assist us all through the way. The college has an Alumni portal where in we can contact our Alumni. They hold fortnightly sessions for student queries and complaints.
Admission
To take admission at IPS you have to score above 50% (general category) and 45% (SC/ST/OBC)in 10+2 in any stream with a recognised Board. I scored 56% in my 12th and enrolled for BBA. The admission process is very simple.
Faculty
The faculty was very good. They taught very dedicatedly and help students clear their doubts. They also gave us a lot of study material like case studies and presentations apart from books that help us a lot in our final exams.
