My German journey in CUG

Despite being established in 2009. CUG?s reputation is increasing as the times passes by. It?s a really good university for humanities and foreign languages students? . the study environment is very good as well as the city?s environment.

It is a central university so all the curriculum of every program is as per UGC norms. The curriculum is very flexible and engaging. The evaluation system is also as per UGC norms. you will grade on your class tests and final exams.

The university doesn?t provide any internship. However students have opportunity to be part of the research projects which many faculty members works on. And they offers a handsome stipend too. And students can also apply from internship from various online portals.

There are large no of events happens in the university every year. The university organized many cultural events every year on almost every national holidays and festivals. Apart from this, student?s body of university also organized events like annual sports events and Garba dance events too.

The fee structure of this university is affordable as it is subsidized by the Central government and as per UGC norms with relaxations provided to reserved category. You can apply for many scholarship provided by Government of Gujarat and Central government also.

The university has plethora of extracurricular activities. You will welcome in the university by your seniors with a fresher party , it?s a great chance to break the ice and interact with your seniors and your classmates . apart from this university also has many different societies like NSS, NCC and theater societies etc.

Hostel is well built with pretty decent infrastructure and the fee is affordable. One room is shared by 2 students. Rooms are big and well ventilated. Bathrooms are cleaned every day. You will get your own closet, study table etc. The food of hostel mess is fine also .

Alumni meets are often organized by the University and all the alumni are very helpful. seniors are very important in the your education life because they provide some valuable information about the academic and after graduation life. So you should interact with them whenever get the chance.

For admission , you have to appear in a common entrance exam which is conducted by university itself. Then you have go through the counseling process to get admission in the university. For Mphil and PhD , you have to pass an interview also.

All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced. We have fresh faculty members with very young minds to the members who have decades of experiences. They are very helpful , available most of the time and love what they
