Remarks

It was among the best time spent and the most productive experience. It boosted my confidence and shaped my vision. Not everything was perfect but i liked everything I experienced in 3years spent there.

Entrance Preview

Basically the entrance is merit based which depends upon your Intermediate scores. I always wanted to study Geography and Political Science for a greater aim of joining the Indian Administration. The process is pretty simple. On the basis of uour score a merit list is prepared and subjects are alloted according to your preference and the merit prepared.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It was pretty good as the Political Science faculty is pretty amazing. Geography is always fun as you get a proper study with practicals and seminars.

Placement Experience

3

I need not talk about that because the answer is above. The job opportunities are awesome as you get to work in the field of education or administration which provides for both security and an opportunity for real service.

College Events

5

Events are held regularly on most important social issues and that too in the presence of many reputed personalities majorly Government Representatives.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As it is a Government institution the fee is very feasible. Probably your monthly rent would exceed the annual fees. Our annual fees was just around 3k but for Geography which is self financed we had to pay an extra of 7.5k.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah there is a cherry on the icing too. The university also provides for merit based as well as financial condition based scholarship programs. The programs are actually very hood in themselves as they are properly managed and you will receive your scholarship on time.

Campus Life

4

The university is famous for its promotion in sports as well as debates along with regular seminars by government officials, educationists, foreign delegates and various colleges.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are good but I would suggest you to arrange an alternative for that because if you really want to study and achieve something you should maintain as much distance as possible from the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is very strong because most of them are a part of The Government of India and they frequently visit the campus to spread education. I personally attended various seminers among which the most recent was by Mr. Yashwant Sinha and everybody knows him.

Exam Structure

B.A exams are annual exams with no semester system at all. The schedule sometimes becomes hectic when all professors want to teach for entire day which is rare but as per schedule everything is awesome.

Faculty

4.5

They know what they do and they are pretty good in what they do. Overwhelmingly supportive but only if you are equally serious else you will experience a hard time.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
