Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very vast and the subject of economics is very well covered. The course work can be hectic as there are plenty of assignments and projects to submit. Their is a focus on research as well.

This is an area where the college can show some changes to the students. However, the college has a good image and the quality of students is good so finding a job is not very difficult. The professors are helpful also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is not very high and is similar to the other colleges that offer similar courses. The fees for the Masters in Economics course is Rs. 18,298 /- each for first and second year so the total fees is Rs. 36,596/-

Campus Life

There are several extracurricular activities within the campus organized by the college. The NSS and the youth union are very active and they carry out several events and other activities within the college.

Admission

Admission at Gulbarga University is done on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university. You have to report at the university along with all your documents to submit the form and the fees for the course.

The faculty at Gulbarga University is extremely well qualified for the posts that they hold in the college. They are good educators and experienced as the selection process is very stringent for the professors.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
