Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really hectic with lots of assignments and work to do every year. Selection begins in last year's midterm only. The matter of lecture is based on the latest standard books and journals.
Placement Experience
Internship opportunities are provided in PGI hospital where we are given hands-on experience and get to know a lot of practical concepts. Placements are provided anytime in organisations like UNICEF and WHO.
College Events
Extracurricular activities are good. They even provide scholarships for poor students. And events are organized throughout the year. The institute definitely makes students industry ready. Annual sports day is held in November.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tuition fees for MDS is ?250, registration fees is ?500, and other fees account to ?21620. The total fees for the course of three years duration is ?25390. The fees here are very reasonable and can be paid by any student.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is second to none as we are offered hands-on experience of different concepts. The equipment available is the latest and is updated according to the modern standards and guidelines, which helps us get practical exposure.
Admission
The admission in Masters program is based on the basis of qualifying entrance test. After which the candidates go through personal counseling conducted by the university itself. The students pursuing MDS need a BDS degree from recognised institute.
Faculty
The Professors are PGI are undoubtedly the best in the country, they have a lot of experience and a lot of achievements, research papers and patents to their credit. The teaching is mostly practical oriented, wherein the students get to treat the patients from the beginning but under the proper guidance.
