Well experienced faculty and one of the best in the state

This is best agriculture university in the state with faculty recognized by scholars in the field around the nation. The curriculum to the faculty all are oriented towards research which is very crucial for the expanding agriculture economy. I truly blessed to be part of this university.

The curriculum is very update and pretty accurate according to the needs of growing agriculture markets. They keep updating the curriculum over time according to the requirements. The curriculum is more focused on the research as well as on theory part of the course. Field work also included in the curriculum to get expose to the real professional life challenges. You will get marks based on your performance on finals exams and class tests, practical exams I the lab and in the final year, you have to submit a project and submit a project report and also have to go through a 6 month internship program to pass the semester.

The university does provide any internship. Every student have to go through an internship program in their final year. University also provide placement in some of good firms in the agro industries. Despite this, students can also apply for internship outside the campus on their own.

On every national holidays like republic day and independence day and festivals like diwali, Holi various cultural events are organized by the university . no classes on these days. other events, annual cultural festivals and sport meets , teacher day celebration happens on the university and many university students attend and participates in these events .

The fee structure of this university is very affordable. My fee was around 4000 per semester. it is heavily funded by state government that?s why it is cheap. University provides relaxations to reserved category as per UGC norms.

University provides no scholarships to students as it is already subsidized by the state government. However it still does provides relaxation to the reserved category as per UGC norms. Students are eligible for the scholarship online provide by State Government and Central Government to support students. So they can look for them online and apply for them according to their needs

Various extracurricular activities happens in the university. University organized seminars and workshops, training programs and conferences on various topics. Fresher party, welcome parties also happen here. University has good sport equipments and huge playground accessible to every student.. Students can join national societies like NSS, NCC etc.

Hostel is well built and pretty good infrastructure and the fee is around 6000 INR per year, this fee includes room rent, wifi, mess and other necessary amenities. One room is shared by 2 students. Rooms are pretty big and well ventilated. Bathrooms are cleaned every day. You will get your own closet, study table etc. The food of hostel mess is good also .

Alumni meet is organized by university almost every year. Alumni network is huge and diverse and spread across the world. you will get to meet them during alumni meet and have a chance to interact them. all the alumni I met during my time was very helpful and cheerful personalities. They do share some crucial advice with me.

Getting admission could be a little tough as I have to sit in entrance exam PAT for my admission in the BSc in agriculture. Then merit list will be based on the marks of entrance exam. So you have to score well in this exam. Thankfully I scored well and get in this university.

All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced for their jobs. Most of them are encouraging and approachable regardless of the working hours. They all are very helpful and well experienced and can almost solve most of yours doubts and they are well aware of the changing trends and some of them are very reputed around the nation in their field of research
