My college experience

There is no match of this university in the region. The facility this university provides to its students with a fraction of fees as compared to other agriculture universities in the region is very appreciable. So if you are interested in the agriculture field. you should study in this university

The curriculum is very flexible. The curriculum is heavily focused on the research just like as any other PhD program. Field work very important in the PhD to collect data and work on a original research problem and add new knowledge in the existing literature. To get your PhD degree, you have to submit an thesis , free of plagiarism and you have to defend it in front of your judging panel.

The university does provide a 6 month internship for UG and PG programs. It is a mandatory for them. however, this is not the rule for the PhD students as they are already busy with their research and field work

The fee structure of this university is very affordable regardless of the program you are studying. it is public funded university. so students won?t have problems with paying the fees. There are also relaxations to reserved category as per UGC norms.

I don?t about the other programs but PhD gets monthly stipend as per UGC norms. if you have passed the UGC NET-JRF, then you will get monthly stipend of around 32000/- by the UGC. There are many scholarship for PhD students provided by many institutes.

Students can become the members of societies like NSS, NCC etc. The university has others extracurricular activities also. It frequently organized seminars and training workshops for the students. fresher party by seniors then we do celebrates teacher days and others. Convocation ceremony and farewell party for the graduating students also organized by the university

Hostel has decent infrastructure and the fee is around 6-7000 INR per year. Hostel also have wifi. 2 students will be in one room. Rooms are pretty spacious and ventilated. Some rooms have attached Bathrooms. Students have their own almirah, study table etc. The food is good enough to keep you

The admission process is just like any other major university. You have to pass an entrance exam CET for any master program and PhD in this university. for PhD , after entrance exam , you have to go through an interview to get the admission in the university.

All the faculty members are well qualified and experienced for their jobs. You can approach any professors to solve your doubts. They all are very helpful and well experienced and will provide you valuable guidance to complete your PhD. So feel free to approach them despite whether they are your supervisor or not.
