Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for M.Pharma in Pharmacology is very well structured and progressive with focus on clinical pharmacology, drug dose response in tissue and bio pharmaceutical studies and parameters. The course if of 2 years with 2 semesters in each academic year. The course is taught and divided as theoretical subjects and practicals.
Placement Experience
Companies like Strides pharma, Alkem, Hetero, Albert David, etc visit our college annually and pick up their handful of students as potential employees. Students in pharmacology department who cannot acquire jobs can get internship in the college and we are also assisted to get internships in outside labs with the help of our placement wing.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee structure for two year course in M.Pharma in Chaudhary Bansi Lal University is 60,000 Rs which is pretty affordable and reasonable considering the high amount of fees charged for masters in pharmacy in various colleges of India. The quality of education and lab work is worth every penny spent.
Campus Life
There are various extracurricular activites in which one can be always engaged in. There is the National pharmacy week that takes place once a year in which students from various pharmacy colleges all around India participate and display their skills in poster making, debates and elocution, quiz, etc. Inter college sports events are conducted in neighboring colleges on Haryana and Delhi.
Hostel Facilities
Both girls and boys hostel are available just around the college campus, with room sharing on the basis of four, three & two seater. The hostel accommodation is decent with decent mess service. I instead took a pg which was just 10 minutes away from the college campus and was comfortable for me.
Admission
To get admission in M.Pharmacy in CBLU, graduation in B.pharma is required with a minimum aggregate percentage/gpa of 50%. Also a score that is considered valid in GPAT examination is to be presented as recognized by the university. In case a student has not appeared for GPAT examination, remainder seats are allotted on the basis of merit score in B.pharm.
Faculty
The faculty responsible for teaching masters to the students are well qualified and have ample knowledge within them to impart to us students. We usually face problems in practicals during dose response experiments but our professors and lab assistants help us in getting our practical rights and achieving the right results which gives us success in the final exams.
