A very peaceful college which peaceful people around. In Anand Agricultural University, the teachers are very good which their knowledge and behaviour towards the students. The good infrastructure and exciting extracurricular activities attract people here.
Course Curriculum Overview
Agriculture is an art as well as science subject. The course structure fulfills the food, fuel, fodder and fruits knowledge. The main curriculum for the course is mainly concerned with the jobs and building a strong base for which a well researched agriculture knowledge is more important.
Placement Experience
The situation is different every year, and companies usually approach according to the requirement of posts. Amul, Vidhya Dairy, Anubhav Dairy, and Balaji Namkeen, etc., are the companies visiting for placements.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a governmental agricultural university, the fee structure for this course here is quite feasible. It is INR 39,200 for 2 years. This is a quite good fee structure considering the facilities provided by the university.
Campus Life
There are several extracurricular activities held by the university. Zero budget natural farming, Training on Organic agriculture, Micronutrient ICAR project, Inter-university premier league, Inter-university kabbadi, Inter-university reagoinal dance competion, etc are organized by the university for the students to keep them engaged.
Hostel Facilities
The college has a hostel Facilty which is really good. There are separate rooms for every student. No disturbance. From the studying point of view, separate rooms are actually necessary. There is no ragging issues in our hostel which is good.
Admission
The mode of admission application is online for this college. The course requires you to clear the GUJCET held by the Gujrat government. With the good aggregate marks in the sciene department of the 12th Boards exams, I was granted admission.
Faculty
Being a governmental agricultural university, the teachers are highly qualified who are PhD holders. All teachers are helpful in assisting in any kind of work or providing notes or study material. Teachers have the latest knowledge about technologies and researches which helps students in research work.
