Course Curriculum Overview
It is quite systematic and professional. There are 10 semesters in total. Exams are held at the middle of and at the end of each semester. We are also expected to make presentation and do projects based in what we study.
Placement Experience
There is internships available at Punjab high court in which all of us take part in. It provides us with the necessary exposure and practical knowledge. The career guidance cell guides on the aspects to be taken care of inorder to get placed and also informs us about the companies we can apply for. Our alumni also helps us a lot in getting recruited by providing the correct assistance
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee amounts to almost 1 lakh per year which is quite expensive. The fee is 84400 for the first year, 88700 for the second year, 93200 for the third year, 97900 for the fourth year and 102800 for the final year amounting to 467000 in total. But there are scholarships provided by the college to which all students can apply.
Campus Life
Several sports fests like Akhaada sports fest are held at the college. Drishyam is a cultural committee national fest held here. A.S Anand national mediation competition and Arguendo( national trial advocacy and client counseling competition) are some of the law based competitions held here.
Admission
I chose university institute impressed by the excellent faculty they possess. The admission process involves an entrance test. Students are expected to attempt the PULLB exam. The exam score combined with 12th class marks will be considered for admission.
Faculty
Well qualified and experienced faculty. They are very much supportive and helpful. They take care that we do not feel the pressure of the course. Us being students directly out of school, the teachers in the initial years make sure that we fall on the right track and us not pressurised by the big syllabus or hard topics
