Kavya's Review On National Institute Of Agricultural Extension Management - [MANAGE], Hyderabad

MANAGE is spread over 17 hectares with a lush green garden. The lecture halls are well equipped with advanced display & audio systems. The college library has all kinds of journals,magazines, books to fulfill students interest subjects. A modern sports complex for indoor and outdoor activities is also provided with gym facilities. Separate hostels for girls and boys are provided with top accommodation facilities on twin sharing basis & attached bathrooms. The who;e college campus is WiFi enabled and it feels a blessing to learn in such a environment.

In this program the we are taught about the subjects such as fundamentals of management, agri finance, economics so that we can get detailed study of distribution, storage rtc. The duration of the course is two years. Moreover we are taught subjects such as International agri food trade, public policy, agricultural finance, agribusiness leadership, economics of food quality, micro finance management, agri business international strategies etc.

The highest CTC offered at my time was 18 lpa and the average standed at 6 lpa. MANAGE has recorded 95% from the past few years. Companies such as ADM, Britannia industries, HDFC bank, Coromandel International Ltd, ITC-ABD, NCDEX, UPL, BASK, Netafim and many other visited during winter and final placements. Internships were offered in the sectors such as retail, commodity, argi business, procurement etc to the students. In most of the internships a pre placement offer was also given to students for the role for management trainee.

The course fees is 15,000. Application fees of 1,000 is to be deposited at the start of semester program. Hostel and mess charges are to be paid separately. The fees is pretty decent and affordable if compared to the other colleges of the country.

Sports activities such as basketball, badminton, volleyball, cricket, football etc are held every even semester to encourage students towards the field of fitness. Debate competitions on save the environment, recycling, pollution etc are conducted every month. Annual event is held every year where the students showcase their talents in different fields like dancing, singing, drama, poetry and many other activities.

The students should have a valid CAT score and other than that they need to have at least 50% marks in the Bachelors program. 45% is the minimum aggregate for the SC/ST/OBC category. 15% seats are reserved for the PWDs and economically weaker sections of the society. The cut off for ABM program is 85+ percentile in CAT. If you have cleared the cut off you will be called for a group discussion/interview round in MANAGE campus. The students work experience and academic diversity is given 10% weight-age. A merit list will be prepared on the scores and you can further check whether to are eligible for admission or not.

We have highly trained & qualified faculty members from top institutions like IIT, IIM, XLRI, NIT. Some of the teachers from University of Michigan gives course lectures related to agri business, retail management and the future opportunities at MANAGE. Our teachers are also available in any sort of distress if we are facing. Their prime focus revolves on our development of skills in agriculture and allied sectors so that later in future we function effectively as managers.
