My journey with OP JINDAL UNIVERSITY

This college is a great place for those who are serious about their future. the faculty members are excellent and guide the students whenever required. The infrastructure is also very beautiful. Student will feel safe inside the campus as well as in hostels.

The course structure of this university is very good. And asking about the exams and labs problems, i will mention that the department heads and staff members of all the departments are very helpful they won't let you fell any hectic or any problem throughout the day.

Yes the college provides placements and job opportunities to all the students. as the students are freshers they also provide a one day workshop on personality development and and they also give an experience on haw the interview us conducted in the company. the companies like Wipro , Infosys, IBM etc frequently visits for campus recruitment.

This college hold NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNO FESTIVAL every year and many other fests like 5 day CNC machine training workshop at OPJU. This college also organise many sports events like 6th STATE LEVEL KICKBOXING CHAMPIONSHIP, 5th STATE YOGA SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP and many more events like these.

The college fee for B.tech is around Rs.1.17 lakhs in first year(61500 for first sem and 56500 for second sem semester), Rs.1.1 lakhs in second year(55000 for each semester) , for third year Rs.1.27 lakhs (63500 for each semester), for fourth year Rs.1.27 lakhs (63500 for each semester) and Rs.4.81 lakhs in total. this fees includes all the expenses like tuition fee, admission fee, exam fee and other miscellaneous fees. I personally think that this fee criteria is feasible and best as we can see all the colleges are demanding almost same fees or slightly higher. But this college is providing a quality education.

Yes this college provides scholarship opportunities to the students. The eligibility for these scholarships depends upon the performance of students in 12th as well as in each semester. They also provide a 20% off to all their employees.

This college has labs for all the departments and also provides many workshops for students. And for sports and fitness they have a Gym built inside the campus where students can perform various fitness activities and a football ground for students to play.

The charges for hostel in this college is Rs.98000 both for male and females. The infrastructure of the hostel in great. The rooms are big enough for 2 students for sharing. each room have 2 wardrobes 2 study tables 2 beds and an attached washroom. And about mess, the quality of hygiene is up-to the mark. The quality of food is also very good.

My experience with my seniors is very good. They guide us like their younger brothers and sisters. There is no chance of ragging or bullying in our college. All the students maintain a very peaceful and friendly environment.

After i completed my 12th, decided to take admission in university under the B.tech (Computer science) stream because of my interest in that particular field. So i shortlisted some colleges in Chhattisgarh and found that OP Jindal University was the best among them. For the admission in this university i have to satisfy all the academic requirements like; at least 50% marks in Higher secondary, with science subjects (physics, chemistry and mathematics) and language subjects. And i also had to pass an entrance exam JEE but this university also accepts CHHATTISGARH-PRE- ENGINEERING TEST.

I must mention that the faculty of this college is working in a friendly environment with teachers as well students. All the professors all well qualified holding a master degree. They teach their students with interest and full dedication.
