My journey of pursuing architecture

The course curriculum is quite vast as the course of bachelors of architecture is vast too. The undergraduate or bachelors course in architecture is of 5 years which makes the course curriculum of the this stream quite vast. Currently I am in the final year and next year I shall be graduated. We have theory as well as practical classes. Labs are often as our work is on field. Examinations are regular and it is necessary to pass in all of them to move into the next year.

Honestly speaking, there are not many campuses selection in the field of architecture. You will be provided with a lot of training and practical knowledge through seminars and internships. If one wants, he or she can continue with the form they have been interning with or or we can open up their own business firm. placement and job opportunities are in plenty once you have passed from the college.

A lot of fests and events take place in the college every year. Be it educational or cultural or any festival, it is celebrated on a big scale in the college. Architectural seminar and fair are conducted by the college on regular basis.

The total fees of 5 years education for bachelors of architecture in this college is 2.33 lakh rupees which accounts 46590 rupees every year. The fees includes all kinds of tuition fee, total year wise fees and other miscellaneous fees which is quite reasonable and affordable as compared to other architecture colleges.

The college does not provide any kind of loan but it does provide scholarships to students who top every year in the college or those who are interested in sports. The scholarship is fully provided by the government and it is applied in the college with the help of professors.

The college provides a large variety of extra curricular activities including sports, dance, music and art. Since architecture requires a lot of creative drawing, the college has made interactive clubs for students who are interested in the fields of arts so as to provide an all round development to them.

The hostel has three students in each room and moreover the place is not that big and students face adjustments problem. The hostel is located within the college campus which is good as it saves a lot of time and energy. The food of the mess is well and good. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The fees for girls hostel per year is between 85000 to 90000 and for boys is the same.

I came to know about this college through its official website. Therefore I applied for it and appeared for the entrance examination that it takes for admission full stop after I clear the entrance examination, they took a few interview sessions with me and this is how I got into the college.

The college faculty is highly skilled and highly knowledgeable. All of them are architects or scholars from recognised institutions. More than being a professor, they are our friends. They thoroughly support and guide us whenever we need them.
