The east west College of Engineering is a part of east west group of institutions. As per the facilities provided by the college, the overall review of the college will be a good one as it provides good quality education and all round development of the student.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the college is dynamic and completely based on technology. It has any how managed to cope up with the changes that have taken place in technology and is up to date. The courses of 4 years that consists of 8 semesters. The exams are really tough and one has to pass through all the exams of each semester to get into next semester
Placement Experience
The placement cell and the placement cell officers in a college are quite hard working. As much as I have heard from my seniors, they always try to bring the best companies in the college. 90% of the students who sat for placements got recruited by the companies. summer internships also provided by the college any student is interested in it.
College Events
A wide variety of events are conducted by the college. college there is one of the big event that happens every year in the college. Technical fests, cultural fest, dance, drama, art competitions are also held by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the college is quite high and ranging expensive. The total fees for 4 years is 20 lacs which means per year fees accounts to 5 lacs rupees, which is a bit expensive as compared to other engineering colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college allows loan facility for the students if the require. The college of connections with many banks and all of them are ready to give loans to the students. But all you need to show is your income certificate. Scholarship is also provided to the students to excel in the field of academics.
Campus Life
A large number of interactive clubs and committees are set up inside the college for the full development and skill enhancement of the student. It is compulsory for all the students to join any of the clubs. There is no discrimination done on the basis of religion, race, gender, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Same as the College fees, the hostel fees also quite expensive. The four year hostel fees is 60000 rupees but it is worth spending the money. The facilities provided by the hostels are very good and the warden will always make you feel as if you are in your home. The hostel maintains good hygiene and cleanliness.
Admission
I had known about this college much earlier through my friends and some career counselling websites. Since then getting to the college was one of my aim. I give the kcet aur Karnataka common entrance exam in which I got a good ranking and percentile according to which I applied for this college and got a seat here.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are really knowledgeable and highly skilled. They help us and support us in whatever problems we face during our study hours. They are only focused towards studies and do not waste any time in the classroom.
