Op Jindal University is one of the best colleges in chhattisgarh. Placement is not an issue here because it has collaboration with the Jindal industries so maximum students get placed over there. The college is a very good option if you are looking for a college for an all round development.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of the college is excellent. a lot of information and knowledge was provided by the professors in the class. Industrial visits were made by the college for practical knowledge of the student. Exams were held on regular basis and it was compulsory to pass in all the subjects to get promoted into the next semester.
Placement Experience
As far as I have heard from my seniors, the college offers 100% placement in top recruiting companies.The college has collaboration with Jindal industries and maximum students get placed there. The college also provide summer internships to the students with good stipend.
College Events
A lot of educational / non educational events take place in the college every year. Festivals like Independence day, republic day, Saraswati puja, Ganesh chaturthi and much more are celebrated in the college. College Day is one of the best days in the college. it is held on a large scale and with lots of enthusiasm.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college is a bit expensive but when compared to the quality education provided here, it is worth every penny. The total fees for BBA for 3 years is 2,66,500. The first year fees is 88,500, the second year fees is 82,000 and for third year it is 96000.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college does provides scholarships. the students whose parents are employees of Jindal industries, there is a concession of 20% for them. Any student who has got more than 85% in their 12th standard, college provides scholarship to them to too. Scholarships are also provided to SC ST students.
Campus Life
A lot of extra curricular activities are done in the college. there are different clubs and committees in the college and any student can join any of them according to his interest. No discrimination on the basis of caste, gender, race is done in the college campus.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility provided by hostel is also very good full stop the maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the hostel campus. Though, washroom are in detached and they are in common for everyone who stays there. The mess provides good food.
Alumni/Alumna
My seniors a quite helpful and supportive. They have always help me whenever I have ask them to. I met one of my seniors on the college day and help me understand the college structure and the environment.
Admission
I came to know about the college through its official website. The selection process of the college is completely merit based. The criteria for getting admission is 12th pass certificate from recognised board and minimum 50 percentage marks. I had all the criterias that were mentioned in the admission form. Therefore, in the second list I made it to the college.
Faculty
The college faculty is highly qualified and excelled. They provided with adequate knowledge in the required field and were very supportive and friendly to the students. All of them are scholars from recognised business schools.
