Remarks

The college is situated in a calm and green part of Bangalore which is really relaxing and effective for students. The infrastructure and facilities provided are also top-notch which made the whole experience for me really rewarding. I had a great time at the college and shaped me on an academic and personal level.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure was well-updated and incorporated all the concepts that are necessary for this discipline with a room for research. We were assessed constantly with unit tests, internal and semester exams. There were lab exams as well.

Placement Experience

Most of the students in the college pursue a great career in the future. Leading corporates like Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Aerospace companies, CMTI comes to recruit students during placement. We were also trained perfectly by the placement cell to do well in the interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I paid a total amount of Rs.20L for the entire 4 years. I have received a decent education and wonderful college life from this institution for I will always be grateful for it. For me, the fee was completely worth it.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships available depending on parental income. There are scholarships offered by the government for SC/ST category. Student loans can be received from banks. Most of the students study with the help of loans.

Campus Life

We have a highly equipped laboratory. Many extracurricular activities take place in college, be it cultural or sports. The college doesn't believe in limiting us to just academics. We have competitions and quizzes on a regular basis. There are fashion shows, dance competitions, dramas, etc. We celebrate college day and other cultural holidays too.

Admission

Admission procedures were really simple. Firstly, you have to submit the application form online and pay the application fee. The selection is made through the Entrance Exam: CET / Management. Your 12th-grade marks will also be taken into consideration.

The college holds a high reputation for academic excellence with of course the effort of the faculty. We had a great bunch of well-qualified faculty members. They provided constant support and guidance for us and really devoted their time to make us better.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.

Don’t join East west college of engineering

I applied for Mvj college and ACS college of engineering and I got selected I didn't join those colleges because the fees was much higher compared to the East west college of engineering. I didn't applied for the other colleges except the above mentioned those 2 colleges so that no rejections.the cutoff for cet students they take in the rankings below 150000 & the eligibility for this course is 10+2 in science back ground...Read More
