Good thing is it's faculty, whom all are very friendly and the location of college which is majestic it brought me every day to my college. The bad for me was being a design student i also had to wear uniform which sometimes bored me. Admission process is fully based on the marks of the 12th grade and first come first serve basis. Dates of admission begins with the filling of form which is in April and may then there is counselling process is fully based on merit. I got to know about DIT through my dehradun friends. And found more about college through magazines.

I chose this course out of my interest B.Arch is interest based course if you are passionate and interested in building the future then it is for you. Faculty student ratio is 1:30, faculties are so knowledgeable and friendly we can even meet them after college also if accessible, they teaching techniques involves very interesting methods they share their work also and guide us how to choose firms for experience overall they are more of a extended family. I came across faculty who are pass out from top colleges in India and abroad, they are from IIT's, columbia university and top rated state University. Some of them are PHD graduate also. My experience with exams was so easy, I used to enjoy in exam days because I everyday study was so enough to pass and sometimes even top the subjects.

Final year students are eligible for placement. More than 50 companies comes every year. 20 lakh per annum is the highest package so far. More than 80% students get places from campus. My plan is come up my own company in my city and also provide students counselling for their future to not repeat the mistakes which I and many have done to follow what I am google at.

Fee are quite high for middle class student it is almost 1-1.5 lakhs per semester. If you top your semester college provides some amount reduction on you semester fee. Fee for state students are about 20% lower than the other state students. And if you have scored more than 90% in your boards there are some concession in your fee also. For job the college is famous in the state, students got placed in ongc, l&T, Mahindra and many more top companies. Salary staring 10-20 lakhs per annum according to your knowledge and preferences. Fee hike is 20% per two years

Youthopia is annual fest for the DIT university it is 5 days fest last day of the fest is live concert from the famous singer from india. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Fest also provide cash prizes to the winners from different competition. Campus library in the faculty and a central Library which have all faculty books. Library has great environment to study and gain knowledge it is also equipped with wifi and pc facility. We can even take our books and can only sit and read there. It was something hideout place for me to spend some alone time there. College has a basketball court and a kabaddi ground in the campus itself. It also organises other sports among different colleges in the central ground which is parade ground and nearby cricket ground. There are so many entrepreneur group by students some of them are for poor children, college students provide study material to the needy students and visit them in their free days to teach them and encourage parents for studies.

Bedbox, study table and a chair, a huge wardrobe, common room. It is more of a apartment type shared by 6 students 2 in each room with 1 common Hall. I give 10 for the meal, menu is different on each day, everyday has a fixed menu in each season, it serves North Indian to South Indian food included in the menu. Hostel is fully based on merit. If you have good percentage in 12th board you'll definitely get a room. I stayed in hostel for 2 years then I got shifted in the locality of canal road which is preferred by students to stay nearby college and the city.
