AIEEE with rank 76924 gen. Category I choose computer science eengineering here instead of dropping a year due to tag "Government".I was outside state student,and there is a 10% quota for outside state students.
Internships Opportunities
No companies came for internship program. However it was mandatory to do one month internship in 3rd year .There were 2 options. Either you can do it on your own or from college sponsored cdac.
Placement Experience
In my time(2014),placement wasn't good. As only one company(TCS) came for approx 300 eligible candidate s and selected 18 out of them.However few more companies called our college to be part of outcampus selection, but for that we had to travel to jaipur. Hardly 6 students got placed through those.However situation is changed now and 50-60% students have got placed in 2015,as i had heard.
College Events
Every year there was a 3 day technical fest, in which all technical events from robotics to lan gaming were there.However college was not so serious about organising events but students tried their harder to make it success. Also once a year,3 days sports tournament was there including quite famous sports like cricket,badminton, table tennis,long jump,high jump etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For me , as i was outside state category student, it was a self financed seat. So don't expect less fees by tag government. However after that also fees wasn't so much high being inr 55000 per annum including all examination fees and all.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, there weren't any scholarship or loan facility offered by college. However being a government college many state scholarship programs like sumedha were there.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel was only for first year and contract was given for it. Based upon the hostel fees, it was ok as you can't expect much in 3000 a month.
Faculty
Faculty was mix a bit. As it was government college, so you can't expect faculty to be responsive towards you except some honest professors.Some faculties may lack knowledge thanks to our reservation system but some have got vast knowledge.
