Nizam's Institute of Medical Science is a good place to get a physiotherapy degree. It is a really good decision to attend here, the faculty and course is really amazing and you can get a lot of real world exposure.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is not too difficult. The BPT course is over 4.5 year but there is a lot of focus on practical experience which is completely necessary. Hence, it can be a bit tough at some time but it's not terrible.
Placement Experience
Yes, there are placements and job opportunities provided by the college placement cell. This is definitely not an issue, there is a lot of demand for any sort of medical degree like physiotherapy, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is pretty good. It's feasible and not too expensive as compared to a lot of medical colleges that offer this course. Annual fees were around 40,000 per year for 4 years so over 1.6 lakhs for the entire course.
Campus Life
Yes, there is a lot of first-hand experience you can derive. There is a lot of freedom but we like to utilize this by doing labs or doing practice camps or workshops and even competitions for the students to enjoy.
Admission
You need to first be eligible. You need to pass from a science stream with some required subjects in your +2. All your admission will be considered based on your merit, hence, your scores and other things will be considered in your application.
Faculty
Faculty are experienced professionals coming from the field along with some professors who teach us the theoretical aspects. It is nice to have a good blend because both aspects need to be taught to students.
