Course Curriculum Overview

The entire course is of three years and as we have a two semester system, we have a total of four semesters and at the end of each semester, examinations are held. We also have tests and quizzes conducted on a regular basis.

Renowned and established organisations and companies offer us placement opportunities, they offer us a great amount of stipend and the selection is based on a strict evaluation done by the organisations.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for not only my course but for all other courses offered at our college is very much reasonable, being a Government college, there are reservations for students coming from different social and economic backgrounds.

Campus Life

There are a lot of events organised at our college, these events include cultural events, inter-college competitions, sports tournaments, exhibitions, webinars, seminars, workshops, debates, etc .

Admission

I had to first fill the college application form present on the website and then I had to submit the marks scored in grade 12 on the basis of which my admission to this course was depended.

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
