Course Curriculum Overview

Master of arts in economics is a post graduate program which has the duration of 3 years and follows semester system. The course structure is very good and focuses on deep study and research. The days are generally chilled. However exams are a little tiring.

Placement Experience

The students are provided a lot of opportunities in order to make them learn and grow. There are various seminars and workshops too. However there are very few internships and job opportunities. Students generally opt for higher studies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the MA Economics is around 20 thousand which is very feasible as per the demands and popularity of the course among the students. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.

Campus Life

The college is good in its extracurricular activities. They enrich their students. They have various sports activities like football, basketball and so on. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fates. Infrastructure is also good.

Admission

Central University of Gujarat offers ma in economics to the students who have passed their graduation in any discipline with atleast 45 percent marks. Then they will have to give the entrance exam CUCET. Based on merit, students will be give the admission.

The faculty of economics is very good. The educators are well qualified and hold higher degrees like phd. The teachers teach the students with full dedication and interest. They are very cooperative in nature. They also help and support the students.

Placement Experience:

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

My two years at CUG

I gave CUET PG exam for Life Sciences Code and later on when the registrations for Central universities started, I registered. So, I did register for Central University of Gujarat as well as Central University of Karnataka. And once the universities published their first merit lists, I got an email from both the universities that I had been shortlisted in the first merit list. So I chose CUG instead of CUK because of 2 reasons, one is that, Gandhinagar is far more safe and better for girls, than any other place right now in India. And other was that, the curriculum of CUG and faculty was really good, which I wanted to have.
